Mission Statement

The Howell County Democrats Club was organized to support and promote the values of the Democratic Party at the local, state and national levels and to elect candidates who represent those ideals.

We are guided by the following principles:
To safeguard democratic processes and Constitutional rights for all people
To promote the highest standards of ethics at every level of government
To preserve and protect the natural systems on which all life depends
To provide opportunities and assistance to those in need
To embrace diversity in cultures, values, lifestyles and religious beliefs

Objectives

To recruit, support and elect candidates for public office
To register new voters and involve all Democrats/progressives in the election process
To help Democrats network with other Democrats in Howell County and across the state
To provide a public presence, through information booths and participation at public events, as well as a website with current information and links to lawmakers, newspapers and other Democratic organizations
To join with the Howell County Democratic Committee in working with the state and national Democratic Parties to create a strong and growing Democratic organization in our area
